5 Resume Tips

Your resume is a marketing tool to get you in the company and in front of the hiring manager. Once you are in, you will need to put on your sales cap, and close the deal. You don’t need to go into detail about every success in your resume. Try to be clear and concise. The purpose is to generate enough interest in you so that the potential employer will contact you. Before you send out your resume, take the time to read it as if you were the hiring manager. How does your resume sound when you read it out loud? Do your accomplishments stand out? How does it look? Make sure it is nice on the eyes and not single spaced or in ALL CAPS. Read more
